These are a few images I took off and around Dunstanburgh Castle on my trip around Northumberland. What’s great about this Northern landscape is that it’s filled with history and countryside, which often come together to create some captivating photography. These Images show Dunstanburgh Castle and the countrysides nature residing beside it.

Bible Hands – Distortion
This image comes under my College Units section in the gallery as it turned out to be my final A level piece. Its a controversial image really that stemmed from a wild development of work. The Unit was Focused on ‘Distortion’, and I started off experimenting with macro shots and techniques. I soon delved deeper intoContinue reading “Bible Hands – Distortion”
Pseudo Microscopy
This is a continuation and variation of the Pseudo Space series. In fact, its the total opposite route, the images below are the ‘accidental’ success of making a pseudo theme, but instead of telescopic, microscopic images were made. After realising, I lightly pursued trying to capture microscopic scenes in similar ways I would telescopic. The connectionContinue reading “Pseudo Microscopy”
Pseudo Space
Below are images from a project I explored in which I looked to find different ways of creating a space-like setting without photographing space or the night sky itself. These images are the results of me capturing reflections of light from shiny surfaces; an idea that came to me after researching conventions of the genreContinue reading “Pseudo Space”

Bird Of Tintagel
This very brave fellow let me picture them, and this particular shot is one of the best, the bird definately compliments the blue sea in the background.

People, Place & Object – Farnham Street Photography Workshop
I learnt a few things in the street photography workshop, mainly that a lot of people don’t like being photographed, however when they don’t mind, some interesting shots can be taken. For this part of the project my point of view was that Farnham is an old traditional town but filled with lots of modernContinue reading “People, Place & Object – Farnham Street Photography Workshop”
People, Place & Object – London 2
These two images were also part of my final set, and although there is less symbolism of decay and degeneration in these images, I tried to pick out more symbolic compositions, with the humanity statue glowing and standing as a figure of hope mounted on an unkept and unclean pedestal. While the bottom image isn’tContinue reading “People, Place & Object – London 2”
People, Place & Object – London
The above images are for the people, place and object project which was to take images and construct a point of view. Of which, mine was that even the capital, the central hub of England, as great as wealthy and economic as the city of London is, under the seams its slowly decaying.
