About me

I’m Matthew Farmer, I’ve studied photography now for Five years and currently hold a UAL Foundation Diploma in Art & Design from where I studied in the University for the Creative Arts Farnham, England.

I have been studying photography since school achieving an A grade in Art & Design and an A* In Graphic Design, both of which heavily featured my photography. I then went on to study Photography and Graphic Design, again in The Sixth Form College Farnborough, of which I gained As & Bs for my units.

Since then (September 2013), I’ve been Volunteering at The Sixth Form College Farnborough, assisting the teaching within the course and lending students a hand with camera techniques, editing techniques and creative ideas I have learnt throughout my own studies.

Im very passionate about all forms of photography and love taking pictures where ever I go. I always seem to find myself researching new editing tips and photographers to craft original ideas. Through my education I have explored numerous different forms and media within photography, including macro closeups to studio photography, to abstract photography, to landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes, all the way to exploring different printing methods and new ways to artistically display images.
